31 Oct Cooking with Tiny: Chocolate Spiders
My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE halloween! It’s no surprise really. Who wouldn’t like the idea of getting dressed up and collecting sweets from all our lovely neighbours. The spirit in our suburb is joyful (despite the ghosts and vampires) and infectious. After living in Canada and trick or treating in the first snow, we welcome Halloween, as to us it signifies community spirit, fun and of course, chocolate. To get into the spirit of Halloween we are making chocolate spiders!
Parents please note: these are very yummy and much better than the average halloween candy which we will all no doubt be sneaking once the kids go to bed every night for the next week (or two!)
You will need: (besides enthusiastic children)
1 packet of Chang’s Original Fried Noodles (100g)
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
Now for the fun bit:
Microwave chocolate and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl for about 1 minute on high or until melted.
Mix well until it is a smooth paste. Add the noodles and stir until all the noodles are coated. Spoon the mixture onto baking paper or into patty pans.
Refrigerate until set.
